An exchange of music, ideas and lived experience.

Bróna McVittie co-hosts an annual music-and-healing seminar with Tommy at the International Fiddler’s Green Festival in Rostrevor. Their collaboration combines performance and conversation, inviting people to consider the place of music in their lives.

A collaborator from music and science

Bróna McVittie is both a singer-songwriter and a biologist. Her music draws on traditional ballads, nature and a combination of acoustic and electronic instruments. Her own account of working with Tommy describes an annual seminar at Fiddler’s Green devoted to music and healing.

Rostrevor as a meeting place

The festival provides a setting where this conversation can sit alongside live music. The Artsahealing record includes a July 2023 session for residents of St Bronagh’s Court and music with the London Lasses, as well as the public seminar.
